I make sure each session feels relaxed and never rushed, so you’ll leave with a selection of images that really capture your family’s unique spirit. And if the day doesn’t go as smoothly as planned, no worries—we’ll simply rebook the session to ensure everything feels just right, at no extra cost to you.

Once the session is complete, I’ll invite you back to the studio about a week or two later to view a gallery of around 20 carefully edited images. From there, you can choose your complimentary image and should you wish to: a package that suits your family best, and those cherished moments will be yours forever.

I know coordinating everyone’s schedules for a family photoshoot can be a challenge, especially when it comes to juggling work, school, and other commitments. To help with this, I offer weekend sessions for larger families to make it easier to find a time that works for everyone.

When you book a complimentary session with us, you’ll get a free print as our way of saying thanks. No strings attached. Sure, many of our clients choose to upgrade to digital packages or add on beautiful prints and wall art, but there's zero pressure. If you decide to treat yourself, great—you can find the pricing at the bottom of this page. But if you’re just here for the free print, that’s totally fine, too! It will be sent to your chosen address as a keepsake of your session.

To secure your session, we simply ask for a refundable £30 deposit. You’ll get it back at your viewing, or you can put it toward any purchase—your call!

We’ll guide you through all the options, from gorgeous wall art to canvas and acrylic pieces, but we’ll never push. Just think of it as an amazing experience with zero pressure, where you walk away with a beautiful print and memories to cherish.

"Can I bring our dog to the shoot?"

Absolutely! I love when families bring their pets to the studio—dogs are always welcome to join the photoshoot. Pets are part of the family, and I’m more than happy to include them in your session to capture those special moments with your furry friend (or friends!). Just let me know in advance, and we can plan to make your dog feel comfortable and included in the shoot!

"What should we wear for the photoshoot?"

I recommend coordinating outfits without being too matchy. Neutral tones, soft pastels, or deep moody colors work best. Avoid bold patterns or logos to keep the focus on your family’s connection. I also shoot two sets—one darker, with colors like navy or dark green, and one lighter, where off-whites and pastels really pop. You are more than welcome to get changed at the studio, and bring all your clothes on hangers to avoid having it all creased.

"Can we just have one set of outfits for the session to avoid wardrobe changes?"

Absolutely. This works well especially if your family is quite large and you'd rather focus of specific group combinations and less on the colours and setup variety. It also works well if you have a few members who are slightly more mature as it makes the whole experience smoother, when we don't make them change half way through the session.

"Can we have a completely different colour set up, not just a neutral grey or white?"

Absolutely! We photograph dark greens, pinks, yellows, oranges and everything in between. Just let us know your colour preference and we will make it happen!

"How long does a family session last?"

Sessions are never rushed, so you can expect it to last around an hour or so. I make sure to take the time to capture a variety of images so you leave with a beautiful gallery of memories.

"When do we get to see our photos?"

After the session, you’ll be invited back to the studio one to two weeks later to view your final gallery of around 20 beautifully edited images. You can then choose the image for your free print, together with any additional products, like digital files, wall art and print enlargements, should you wish to get them.

"Is the studio accessible?"

Yes! Our studio is fully accessible, with wheelchair access and a wheelchair-friendly toilet to ensure all family members can be part of the session comfortably.

There is also free parking outside the studio.

"What if we need to reschedule?"

Life happens, and if something comes up, we can reschedule your session. Just let me know as early as possible, and we’ll find a new date that works for you.

"What happens if my children aren’t cooperative during the session?"

No need to worry! I have plenty of experience working with children, no matter how energetic or shy they may be. If things don’t go as planned, we’ll simply rebook the session to make sure we get the best images.

"How do I book my family photoshoot?"

Booking your family photoshoot with Dinky Feet Studio is easy and straightforward. Here’s how you can secure your session:

1. Contact Us: Reach out to us via phone, email, or our online contact form. Let us know that you’re interested in booking a family session and provide a few details about your ideal date and preferred timing (keep in mind our youngest model's nap times as we want everyone rested and full of beans).

2. Secure Your Spot: Once we’ve settled on a date and time, we’ll send you a confirmation email with all the details of your session. This will include information on what to expect, how to prepare, and any necessary forms and agreements. To finalise your booking, we require a £30 deposit which is fully refunded at your viewing. This ensures that your session is reserved and allows us to allocate the time and resources needed to make your shoot special. Dates are allocated on first come first served basis and won't be secured without the deposit.

3. Consultation: We’ll arrange a consultation (this can be in-person or via a Zoom call) to discuss your preferences, answer any questions. This is also an opportunity to discuss wardrobe options, and any special requests you may have.

4. Enjoy Your Photoshoot: On the day of your session, arrive at the studio ready to enjoy a relaxed and enjoyable experience. We’ll take care of the rest!

Terms & Conditions for Complimentary Photoshoot
1. Booking and Deposit
- This complimentary photoshoot includes a free session and a complimentary 12x10” print.
- A refundable deposit of £30 is required to secure your session date and time. This deposit will be refunded in full at your viewing appointment or can be put toward any purchase, as you choose.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
- If the studio needs to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a new session date or provide a full refund of the deposit.
3. No-Show Policy
- Failure to attend your session without notice will result in the loss of your deposit.
- We kindly ask for timely communication if your plans change.
4. Viewing and Additional Purchases
- During your viewing appointment, you will have the opportunity to select your complimentary print and view the best images captured in the session.
- Additional prints, digital images, and other products are available for purchase. Pricing for these items is available on our website.
- All orders made at the viewing appointment are final. Due to the custom nature of our products, no refunds or exchanges will be offered on additional purchases.
5. Delivery of Complimentary Print
- Your complimentary print will be produced and delivered to the address you specify. Please allow up to 14 days for delivery after your selection is made.
6. Digital Image Storage
- Any images that are not purchased during your viewing will not be stored after the viewing session. Purchased digital images will be provided in high resolution via secure download.
7. Model Release
- By booking this complimentary session, you grant the studio permission to use select images for marketing purposes, including social media, website galleries, and print materials. If you do not wish for your images to be used in this way, please notify us in writing before the session.
8. Liability
- The studio is not responsible for any injuries, loss, or damage that may occur during the photoshoot session.
9. Age Requirements
- Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the session. Parents or guardians will be responsible for the minor's conduct throughout the session.
